«Κυκλοφορώ με ασφάλεια»: Σχεδιασμός, παραγωγή και παιδαγωγική αξιοποίηση εκπαιδευτικού βίντεο αντεστραμμένης τάξης στη Β΄ Δημοτικού

Abstract

This paper presents the design, production, and educational utilization of a short educational video on road safety, developed within the framework of the ICT practicum at the Department of Primary Education of the University of the Aegean. The video was designed to be utilized in a flipped classroom context in the 2nd grade of primary school and focuses on familiarizing students with basic traffic rules. The central learning objective is the development of a responsible attitude and safe behavior in children as pedestrians, passengers, and future cyclists. The educational approach is based on the principles of multimedia learning and situated, student-centered teaching, emphasizing experiential and collaborative learning (Angelidis, 2019; Sofos, 2023; Felekidou & Lenakakis, 2022). The media style of the video is explanatory, featuring simple narration, graphics, and examples from children's everyday lives. The paper documents the pedagogical and technical design of the video, presents the accompanying learning activities, and evaluates its educational value for primary education.
