Abstract
What are the key characteristics of the market
supplying care services to families in Greece
today? What is the role played by female
migrants in the emerging rearrangement of
roles and obligations? This article examines
the care activities performed by migrant
women. It attempts to evaluate the size of the
market for care (demand), its implicit cost as
well as possible ways to reorganize it in a fair
manner.
