Kathy Jenkins

Kathy Jenkins, MD, MPH is Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. 

Dr. Jenkins is Executive Director of the Center for Applied Pediatric Quality Analytics at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she is also a Senior Faculty Member in the Department of Cardiology.  She is the former Chief Safety and Quality Officer at Boston Children’s Hospital.   She has had multiple national leadership roles including Chair of the Congenital Heart Public Health Consortium and the American College of Cardiology Adult Congenital and Pediatric Cardiology Council.  She has led several national quality projects, including the NCDR Impact Registry, the National Pediatric Cardiology Quality Improvement Collaborative, and currently leads the ACC Adult Congenital and Pediatric Cardiology Quality Network (QNET).  Dr. Jenkins is Project Director for the International Quality Improvement Collaborative for Congenital Heart Disease: Improving Care in Low and Middle Income Countries.  She has an extensive background in measurement and risk adjustment for pediatric health outcomes.
