The test was conducted on 6 experimental groups of different ages from a total number of about 120,000 layers. The blood testing occurred every two weeks without altering the established program of vaccination of the flock. It was ascertained that the average title of antibodies was at a low level and the coefficient of variation (CV) was high, which means that there was no uniformity in the title of antibodies in the bird population. This could be due to the fact that the vaccinations were random without the necessary criteria for application being taken into account. This has the unfortunate consequence that the bird population does not have sufficient immunity for their own protection against the disease.
}, number={3}, journal={Journal of the Hellenic Veterinary Medical Society}, author={XYLOURI-FRANGIADAKI (Ε.
