Special Issue Call for Papers -Advances in Transmedia Character Personality Design
This special issue of AFIMEC invites contributions that examine character personality as a central concern in the creative process of designing transmedia narratives across media platforms such as Interactive Media, Animation, Games, and Interactive Networked Environemts (IMAGINE platforms). It aims to advance both theoretical and practice-based understandings of character design in digital storytelling ecosystems. Emphasis is placed on frameworks that support the integration of personality models and embodied user performance across interconnected media environments.In the proposed Special Issue on Advances in Transmedia Character Personality Design, we are willing to invite researchers and practitioners to share with the digital creative community their novel approaches, practices, and experiences in unveiling the personality of digital characters in transmedia worlds.
