L΄impero di Nicea nelle fonti della Creta Veneziana

Ἡ αὐτοκρατορία τῆς Νίκαιας στὶς πηγὲς τῆς βενετοκρατούμενης Κρήτης
Ἐξετάζεται, μὲ βάση τὴν ὁρολογία ποὺ χρησιμοποιεῖται, σὲ μιὰ σειρὰ βενετικῶν ἐγγράφων ἡ στάση τῆς Γαληνότατης ἀπέναντι στὴν αὐτοκρατορία τῆς Νίκαιας. Τὰ ἔγγραφα αὐτὰ ἀναφέρονται στὸ ἐπαναστατικὸ κίνημα τῶν Κρητικῶν ἐναντίον τῆς Βενετίας ποὺ ἐκδηλώθηκε τὸ 1228 μὲ τὴν ἐνίσχυση τοῦ Ἰωάννη Βατάτζη. Σχολιάζονται ἰδιαίτερα οἱ ὅροι ἀνατολὴ καὶ ἀνατολικός.
