L'église byzantine de S. Nicolas en Égialie. Contribution à l'histoire du monastère des Taxiarques.
Près du monastère des Taxiarques en Égialie et dans les limites de son territoire, aux bords de la rivière Sélinous, est située l'église de S. Nicolas. L'église, datant de la fin du Xe siècle (vers l'an 1000), fut jadis le catholicon d'un monastère, à une époque antérieure à l'arrivée de S. Léontios.
