Author Biography
Polymeris Voglis, University of Thessaly
Polymeris Voglis was born in Athens in 1964. He graduated from the History and Archaeology Department at the University of Athens and received his PhD from the European University Institute in Florence. He continued his postdoctoral studies and research at Princeton University and New York University. He has published the books Becoming a Subject. Political Prisoners in the Greek Civil War (2002) and The Greek Society under Occupation, 1941-1944 (in Greek, 2010). His interests concern the postwar Greek and European history and social history. He is assistant professor in the Department of History, Archaeology and Social Anthropology at the University of Thessaly.
