Βιβλιοκριτική σχετικά με τη γένεση των Κοινωνικών Επιστημών γενικότερα και της Οικονομικής ειδικότερα, στην Ιαπωνική διανόηση των αρχών του 20ου αιώνα. Θίγονται ζητήματα Ιστορίας της Επιστήμης, αλλά και σχέσης της Επιστήμης με την κοινωνία, την κοινωνική, οικονομική και πολιτισμική ιστορία της Αν. Ασίας, αλλά και την ιστορία των ιδεών στην Ιαπωνία
