Author Guidelines

The Journal will publish research work carried out by students in primary and secondary school classrooms across Europe in the field of STEM.  Articles will enable students and teachers to share their work and knowledge with schools across Europe. Submitted articles should have a clear scope and not attempt to address entire disciplines. As they will be targeted to students language should be appropriate to the expected age group.

Articles must be submitted in English and should not exceed 3,000 words all inclusive. Once submitted they will be reviewed by two reviewers, one educational staff (teacher, head teacher etc) and a researcher in the relevant discipline that will be published. Reviewers normally respond within 5 weeks and an editorial decision is made as soon as both referees' reports are received.

Authors should ensure that the purpose of their article is clear from the start and throughout the whole article to the end. Even within the given sections, each paragraph should have a clear purpose. When framing articles authors should ask themselves what concepts they consider as background for being able to understand the work shared. Use of figures is an important way to display meaning and visualize difficult concepts.
