Περίληψη

Στην παρούσα εργασία εξετάζεται η ανάπτυξη των διεθνών οπτικοακουστικών παραγωγών που υλοποιούνται εν μέρει ή εξ ολοκλήρου στην Ελλάδα και ο κεντρικός ρόλος των ελληνικών δημοσίων αρχών στην υποστήριξη του εν λόγω τομέα, που αποτελεί αιτία προσέλκυσης τουριστικών ροών, να αναπτυχθεί ακόμη περισσότερο. Αυτή η μελέτη προσπαθεί να εντοπίσει τα πιο συνηθισμένα εμπόδια που αντιμετωπίζει η βιομηχανία οπτικοακουστικών μέσων όταν αποφασίζει να επιλέξει την Ελλάδα ως τόπο για την υλοποίηση ενός οπτικοακουστικού έργου. Οι βιώσιμες πρακτικές που προτείνονται στοχεύουν στην περαιτέρω προσέλκυση και ανάπτυξη ανάλογων πρωτοβουλιών στην ελληνική επικράτεια. Επισημαίνονται μερικά από τα σημαντικότερα οφέλη από την υλοποίηση τέτοιων έργων για τις τοπικές κοινωνίες όπως η αύξηση του εισοδήματος, η δημιουργία νέων θέσεων εργασίας και η γενικότερη τόνωση της τοπικής οικονομίας. Ο αντίκτυπος των οπτικοακουστικών παραγωγών στον τουρισμό σχετίζεται επίσης με το «κινηματογραφικό αποτέλεσμα» και τον σημαντικό ρόλο των οπτικοακουστικών παραγωγών στην προώθηση των αξιοθέατων μιας περιοχής. Η παρούσα εργασία εστιάζει στην επέκταση του κλάδου των διεθνών οπτικοακουστικών παραγωγών με έμφαση στις θετικές επιπτώσεις που έχουν οι πολιτιστικές-οικονομικές οπτικοακουστικές παραγωγές στην ενίσχυση τόσο των τοπικών οικονομιών όσο και του ελληνικού οπτικοακουστικού τομέα.
