Περίληψη

This study investigates the socio-economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the residents of a municipality in the Region of
Central Macedonia in Greece. Conducted during 2021-2022, the field research focused on how the citizens perceive, approach, and
evaluate their socio-economic situation (quality of life), access to health and social services, facilities for persons with disabilities, environmental challenges, and other factors, in light of the effects of the recent financial and health crises. To achieve this, a customised questionnaire was developed, a telephonebased opinion survey was conducted, and responses from a sample of about 3000 residents were collected and analysed.
