Author Biographies
Ilias Nicolacopoulos

Bora in Athens in 1947. Studied mathematics in Athens, Lausanne
and Paris and was Assistant Professor of Probability
Theory at the University of Geneva. His main field of activity
is statistics and the application of mathematics in Social Sciences.
He is currently working at EKKE participating in the
research of the postwar electoral behavior in Greece.

G. S. Tsouyopoulos

Born in Athens in 1930. Studied music, musicology, philosophy
and architecture at the Universities of Zurich and Munich
also at the Technical University of Munich. He worked as a
specialist in programs of urban and regional development as
well as urban renewal in West Germany. His main field of
activity is the «theory of central places» and the urban sociology.
Currently, he is directing at EKKE the «Research
of the Greek Urban Center»,
