Author Biography
Ismail Shariff, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay

Born in Mysore, India; 12-5-1938
Dr. Ismail Shariff teaches at present in the Regional Analysis
Concentration of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. He
is also the Chairman of the Economics Option. He obtained
his Bachelor of Arts degree (with honors) and Master degree
in Economics from the University of Mysore, India. He received
his Ph. D. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madi

Madison,
1965. He is the author of two books The Development
of Indian and American Agriculture: A Comparative Study
(Interstate publishers, Danville, 111. 1968) and Cooperatives: A
Handbook (American printers and publishers 1972, Madison,
Wisconsin). Also he has published several articles in leading
American and Foreign Academic Journals. He is currently associated
with the South-Asian Research Center at the University
of Wisconsin-Madison.
