Η εργασία αυτή περιλαμβάνει τ' ακάρεα της οικογένειας Tenuipalpidae που έχουν ανευρεΟεί στα ελαιόδενδρα και δίνει πληροφορίες σχετικές με την εξάπλωση, ξενιστές και βιοοικολογία των. Επίσης παρουσιάζει ένα κλειδί διαχωρισμού για τα είδη Brevipalpus, που έχουν ξενιστή τα φυτά του γένους Olea.
