Επτά είδη ακάρεων Phytoseiidae καταγράφηκαν για πρώτη φορά σε διάφορα φυτά στην Κύπρο: Amblyseins barkeri (Hughes), Euseius scutalis (Athias-Henriot), Euseuis finlandicus (Oudemans), Typhlodromus leptodactylus Wainstein, Typhlodromus exhilaratus Ragusa, Typhlodromus phialatus Athias-Henriot, Typhlodromus carmonae Chant and Toshida-Shaul.
