Traditional and aesthetic and musicological elements in the work of Mikis Theodorakis
Abstract
Mikis Theodorakis' songs are an excellent field for exploring the mixing of poetry words with traditional and folk creation. Based on our studies and knowledge of the character, technical and musicological characteristics of these creations these, this paper attempts a reference based on the axes of tradition, ethos (character) and poetry in the traditional songs in relation to with the songs of Mikis Theodorakis (mostly with that of "Tou nekrou adelfou".
