Municipal elections 2010 in Athens

Abstract
The victory of G. Kam inis in municipal elections in Athens last November is clearly a major breakthrough in Greek recent electoral history. This article attempts a more detailed approach and mapping of trends that haveappeared in these elections, each affecting the final result as a separate component in the final shaping of the electoral map. Special attention is given to the analysis of immigrants’ voting, which influence the context and character of the competition.
