Περίληψη

The Religious Course has a long history since the 19th century, and it was based on specific theological interpretive constructions directly linked to the prevailing religion and confessional or catechetical character. Today the investigation of the social construction of reality requires showing how religious constructions can function in a new reframed interpretative and functional social scheme and how this can be understood through education. The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the utilization of the tools of socio-historical analysis in the preparation of Religious Education Study Programs based on the needs of the modern pluralistic society. Emphasis is placed on connecting the pursuits of socio-historical analysis with intercultural-interreligious education in Religious Education.
