Κατασκευή και επικύρωση εργαλείου μέτρησης πεποιθήσεων για τη φύση της γνώσης και της μάθησης

Περίληψη

Η παρούσα έρευνα στόχευε στην κατασκευή και επικύρωση ενός εργαλείου μέτρησης επιστημολογικών πεποιθήσεων, δηλαδή πεποιθήσεων που αφορούν στη φύση της γνώσης και της μάθησης. Για την κατασκευή και επικύρωση του εργαλείου χρησιμοποιήθηκε δείγμα 319 υποψήφιων δασκάλων. Το εργαλείο αποτελείται από 30 δηλώσεις που αντιπροσωπεύουν πέντε διαστάσεις επιστημολογικών πεποιθήσεων. Η επικύρωσή του έγινε μέσω Επιβεβαιωτικής Ανάλυσης Παραγόντων (Confirmatory Factor Analysis-CFA). Για τον υπολογισμό των παραμέτρων του μοντέλου χρησιμοποιήθηκε η μέθοδος της μέγιστης πιθανοφάνειας (maximum likelihood-ML), ενώ για την αξιολόγηση του βαθμού προσαρμογής των δεδομένων στο μοντέλο χρησιμοποιήθηκαν τέσσερις διαφορετικοί δείκτες καλής προσαρμογής (fit indices). Για την αξιοπιστία του μοντέλου υπολογίστηκε ο συντελεστής εσωτερικής συνάφειας Cronbach alpha. Το συγκεκριμένο εργαλείο ονομάζεται Ελληνική Κλίμακα Μέτρησης των Διαστάσεων των Επιστημολογικών Πεποιθήσεων (Ε.Κ.ΜΕ.Δ.Ε.Π). Με βάση τα αποτελέσματα, αποτελεί ένα έγκυρο και αξιόπιστο εργαλείο, που εκτιμάται ότι θα φανεί χρήσιμο στην προσπάθεια προώθησης των επιστημολογικών πεποιθήσεων στην εκπαίδευση, με έμφαση στις Φυσικές Επιστήμες και ιδιαίτερα στη Βιολογία.
