Sources of Support
Education and research are the two poles that compose the physiognomy of each science. Nursing must go hand in hand with the rapid developments of the day if it wants to play an essential role in scientific becoming.
Hellenic Society of Nursing Research and Education hopes that by creating a channel of communication with the Nurses will be able to contribute, as far as possible, to the strengthening of continuing education and research.
Journal History
Health and Research Journal (HealthResJ) appears in 2015 with the aim of publishing postgraduate theses of the master’s degree programs in Intensive Care Units, as publication of the thesis is a necessary prerequisite, according to the study guide.
Along the way, the Journal also opens its doors to the whole scientific world in the field of health. It has only been published in English since 2019 and this was considered necessary as science has no boundaries and the editors believe that it should be governed by free access rules.
It is published by the MSc of "Intensive Care Units" of the Medical School of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is supported by the Hellenic Society for Nursing Research and Education (EENEE) and the Hellenic Society of Ergospirometry, Exercise and Rehabilitation (ELERGA).
Significant impetus for the upgrade of HealthResJ provides and ensures its integration into the National Documentation Center (EKT) platform.
