Aνθρωπολογίες/Anthropologies is an open-access journal published annually, featuring original works in Greek and English. It employs a double-anonymous peer review process and seeks to foster dialogue across diverse theoretical and methodological approaches while facilitating encounters between anthropologists and broader audiences.

Interlocutors in the mountainous region of Sfakia watch and comment on scenes from the documentary "The Hospitable Gaze: Photographers, Enemies, and Tourists in Sfakia" (2024/2025). The ethnographer brought the video material to the field with the aim of finalizing the film based on the commentary and approval of sensitive scenes by local people before its final production and distribution at documentary festivals.
