Author Guidelines


Authors who wish to submit their papers for publication in the Bulletin of the Centre for Asia Minor Studies should send them via e-mail (info@kms.org.gr) as a Word document. The Bulletin accepts papers written in Greek, English or French. Any excerpts from Ancient or Byzantine Greek Literature should be in polytonic Greek and photocopies of the excerpts should be sent to the Centre either via mail (11 Kydathinaion Str., 105 58,Athens) or via fax (0030 210 3229758).

The names of Modern Greek authors appear in the form used by the authors themselves if they have published work in a foreign language. Names of places should be used in their standard forms in English or in French, otherwise they should be transliterated according to the general rules followed by the Bulletin of the Centre for Asia Minor Studies.

The papers should include footnotes and not endnotes. The bibliographical references should be included in the footnotes as follows: complete bibliographical details of the work cited in the first reference in each article –e.g. Melpo Merlier, Présentation du Centre d’Études d’Asie Mineure. Recherches d’Ethnographie, deuxième édition avec le soin de Pascal M. Kitromilidès, Athènes 2011, pp. 12-13; Peter Topping, ‘Greek historical writing on the period 1453-1914’, Journal of Modern History 33 (1961), p. 157– and an abbreviated form (author’s surname, short title, pp.) thereafter.

The article must be followed by an abstract. If illustrations are included please send them via e-mail in a high analysis digital form.
