Author Biography
Vangelis Karamanolakis
Vangelis Karamanolakis is a Lecturer in Theory of History and History of Historiography at the University of Athens. He received his Ph.D. from the Athens University in 2004. He has taught at the universities of Crete, Athens, Panteion (Greece). He is the author of The formation of historic science and history teaching at the University of Athens (1837-1932), 2006. He has also published several articles in scientific magazines (Mnemon, Historein, Ta Historika, Archeiotaxio) and chapters in books about Greek historiography, history of institutions, archival research and psychiatric institutions. He is member of the editorial committee of the journals Mnemon, Historein and Archeiotaxeio. He is Secratary of the Society’s Board of Directors of the Contemporary Social History Archives
