Abstract
The feeling of satisfaction of the trainees plays an important role in learning. The present research aims to investigate the views of distance-trained primary education teachers on the elements of the printed material that contribute to their satisfaction. An overview survey was carried out, with a sample of 44 teachers of the PE of Thessaly. The research tool was the anonymous, individual and online questionnaire. The findings show that satisfaction is positively related to the existence of useful, experiential and interesting content that meets the needs of learners, has clear instructions and promotes learning control, personalized learning, assessment and interaction with the instructor, learners and the material. Also, they show that there is a positive correlation of satisfaction with friendly style, direct style, simple dialogic form, complex dialogic form, the existence of pretexts, posttexts, intertexts, impingements, adjacent, contexts, polytexts, visual depictions and color application. The results have important implications for improving the quality of printed distance learning materials.
