Self-Archiving & Repository Policy
The Health and Research Journal supports the broad dissemination of research and allows authors to self-archive their work.
What authors may deposit
Authors may deposit and share the following versions of their manuscript in institutional or disciplinary repositories, personal websites, or scholarly sharing platforms:
-
Submitted version (preprint)
-
Accepted manuscript (postprint / author accepted manuscript)
-

Embargo
The journal does not normally apply an embargo. Authors may deposit each version immediately upon submission/acceptance/publication, as applicable.
Preprints
Preprints are permitted. Authors should disclose preprint posting at submission.
Conditions for deposit (attribution)
When depositing the accepted manuscript or the published version, authors must:
-
include a full citation to the article in the Health and Research Journal, and
-
provide the DOI (where available) and a link to the journal page of the article, and
-
indicate the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, provide a link to the license and indicate whether changes were made.
Third-party material
If an article contains third-party material not covered by CC BY 4.0 (e.g., images used with permission), authors must ensure that repository deposits respect any additional rights restrictions.
Repository metadata
Authors are encouraged to include complete bibliographic metadata (title, authors, affiliations, abstract, keywords, journal title, year, volume/issue, pages, DOI) to support indexing and discoverability.
