H έννοια της φροντίδας στην κοινωνική πολιτική και η σχέση της με το φύλο: από το δυϊσμό στη σύνθεση και στη διαφορά
Abstract
Τhe approach of care in social policy from the point of view of gender has been the central point of reference to the issue to date, not only because women make up the majority of caregivers, but also because the deconstruction of the concept of care in its dimensions such as formal-informal, paid-unpaid, care as a relationship-activity, touches on the very notion of gender. The aim of this article is to consider the relationship between gender and care in the feministtheory of social policy. We will attempt a periodic review, with a critical overview of relevant theoretical approaches, from the early 1980s to the present, with the aim of exploring their boundaries both in understanding the position of gender in care and the social protection models they entail.
