Abstract

Περιγράφονται, η παρασκευή, οι έλεγχοι, η πειραματική χρησιμοποίηση στη πράξη νεκρού εμβολίου κατά της Ατροφικής Ρινίτιδας των χοιριδίων. Το προϊόν χρησιμοποιήθηκε σε μεγάλη μονάδα με σοβαρά προβλήματα στα χοιρίδια από την ασθένεια. Συνολικά εμβολιάστηκαν 3.000 ενώ παρέμειναν ανεμβολίαστα, σαν μάρτυρες, 400 χοιρίδια. Πραγματοποιήθηκαν τρεις εμβολιασμοί: την πρώτη και τρίτη ημέρα ζωής με χορήγηση που έγινε ενδορρινικά με ψεκασμό και τέλος κατά τον απογαλακτισμό με υποδόρεια έγχυση. Τα αποτελέσματα υπήρξαν πολύ ικανοποιητικά αφού κανένα από τα εμβολιασμένα δεν παρουσίασε συμπτώματα Ατροφικής Ρινίτιδας και η ανάπτυξη του σωματικού βάρους υπήρξε ομαλή. Αντίθετη υπήρξε η εικόνα των ανεμβολίαστων χοιριδίων τα οποία, εκτός από τα συμπτώματα σε ποσοστό 6,75% παρουσίασαν και σημαντική καθυστέρηση της ανάπτυξης. Γιά τα οριστικά συμπεράσματα πάνω στην αποτελεσματικότητα του προϊόντος απαιτούνται παραπέρα παρατηρήσεις από μιά ευρύτερη χρησιμοποίηση του στη πράξη.
