The Marasleiaka in the "long durée"
Abstract
The Marasleiaka case does not seem to end with the removal of the protagonists from the Academy. The Administration will continue to be closely watching Roza Imvriotis in Thessaloniki, where assumed a teaching position at the city’s High School for Girls. For reasons analyzed further in the study, the Administration initiated disciplinary proceedings against her and imposed sanctions. She appealed to the newly-established Supreme Administrative Court of the Council of State, which, in the end, vindicated Imvriotis with three rulings, thus, additionally, justifying the expectations of those who wished for an institution that would protect the subordinate parties from the arbitrary governing of the Administration.
