Contribution of animation to educational process: The case of an animation workshop in Ionidios secondary school of Piraeus
Abstract
In this paper, we present the basic principles of design and implementation of an
animation workshop in Ionidios secondary school of Piraeus for the creation of an
audiovisual animated message against the intolerance using the narrative and
morphological possibilities of the animation technique. Thereafter, we analyze
morphologically the animation film created through the workshop trying to link the
script and direction choices with the teaching strategy and to justify them in
pedagogical terms. Finally, we explore the contribution of the workshop to
educational process in traditional and distance learning.
