Call for papers: Special section “Individuals, Relationships and Community in the Digital Era”
The Psychology of Media and Technology Division of the Hellenic Psychological Society invites manuscripts for a special issue addressing “Individuals, Relationships and Community in the Digital Era”. Digital technology has reached almost every tier of social relationships. The consequences of digital media were so enormous that they characterized the contemporary era as digital. Taking into consideration the above frame, psychology research can contribute so that these consequences could be more comprehensible.
For this special issue, guest editors Prof. Panagiotis Kordoutis, Dr Petros Roussos and Dr Anthi Argyroudi are seeking research reports and theoretical manuscripts that refer to the psychological consequences of digital technology in individuals, interpersonal relationships, and the community.
Empirical studies will be prioritized. The accepted language is English.
Those interested are kindly requested to submit a 250-word abstract of their study in English until Monday, 11th September 2023, by emailing: digitaleraelpse24@gmail.com with the indication “Special Issue Digital Era – Surname_First_Author”.
Authors will be informed about the acceptance or not of their proposal until the end of December 2023. The final date for submitting the full manuscripts will be May 31st, 2024.
For the submission of their full manuscript, the authors must follow the instructions that appear in the following link: https://ejournals.epublishing.ekt.gr/index.php/psychology/about/submissions#onlineSubmissions and use the template for the configuration and the submission of their manuscripts. During submission, it should be clearly mentioned that the paper submitted is for the Special Section.
