Abstract
In contemporary times, what was once considered a dystopian prospect- the collaboration between humans and machines- became a tangible reality, with the latter now referred to as Artificial Intelligence (AI) (Andriotakis, 2022). AI has evolved into an integral component of daily life, functioning as one of the most advanced tools for information retrieval and management. This study approaches AI as a supportive instrument for language learning, exploring its potential integration into the classroom. Emphasis is placed on Large Language Models (LLMs) and innovative applications of AI in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP). In this context, special attention is given to the role of prompt engineering by educators as a means of fostering and cultivating students’ soft skills
