Literary Studies and Cultural Mobility

In the last thirty years, in the so called “era of Globalization”, the field of Comparative Literary Studies has found itself at the core of many critical discussions, mainly regarding its orientation within Postcolonial Studies. In this article, I will briefly attempt to highlight some aspects of Postcolonial theory, which concern the “geographies of cultural mobility”. These examples are also linked par excellence to the reflective concept of “world literature”. The latter is related to the contemporary challenges and prospects of the Public and Applied Humanities.
