Historical Review / La Revue Historique is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that is published annually. It is a forum for publication of articles and book reviews covering cutting-edge, state-of-the-art historical research. Historical Review / La Revue Historique especially welcomes scholarly articles on the broad field of Hellenic Studies, and on the history of the Mediterranean and of Southeastern Europe, from the 16th century up the 20th century. We invite original papers and critical perspectives from all fields of historical inquiry within the social sciences and the humanities. The journal is bilingual (English and French).
Historical Review / La Revue Historique is published by the Section of Neohellenic Research of the Institute of Historical Research of the National Hellenic Research Foundation, the largest historical research institute focusing on Greek history in the world.
