Abstract

This study investigates the sexual education of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), focusing on effective practices and approaches being implemented. The aim of the research is to assess the necessity and effectiveness of interventions in the field of sexual education, as well as the challenges faced by parents and educators in their implementation. The methodology includes qualitative analysis of data collected through interviews with parents, educators, and specialists, as well as a review of the existing literature. The findings demonstrate that sexual education is critical for the holistic development of children with ASD. However, gaps in the training of educators and support for parents are highlighted, which affect the quality of the education provided. In conclusion, the study emphasizes the need for systematic training and awareness regarding the sexual education of children with ASD in order to enhance the quality of interventions and their overall well-being.
