Abstract

This literature review aims to investigate the factors that influence the quality of the sibling relationship and its contribution to socio-emotional development during childhood and adolescence. The results of the study showed that siblings influence each other's socio-emotional development. The findings of this study can be utilized by scientists in Pedagogy, Psychology and Sociology, in order to highlight innovative theoretical approaches to the factors that influence the quality of the sibling relationship and the ways of managing it within the family environment.
