Περίληψη

Σχολικοί ηγέτες και εκπαιδευτικοί, συνεχώς, χρειάζεται να αναθεωρούν και να προσαρμόζουν τον τρόπο εργασίας τους για να ανταπεξέλθουν με επιτυχία στις προκλήσεις που επιβάλλονται από το εξωτερικό περιβάλλον. Η καθιέρωση και η ενδυνάμωση σχέσεων εμπιστοσύνης μεταξύ του σχολικού ηγέτη και των εκπαιδευτικών σε μια σχολική μονάδα, θα μπορούσε να συνεισφέρει αποτελεσματικά στην αντιμετώπιση τόσο των προβλημάτων της καθημερινότητας όσο και στην περίπτωση απαιτητικών και πρωτόγνωρων συνθηκών (π.χ. οικονομικές κρίσεις, περιπτώσεις πανδημίας κτλ.). Η έρευνα έχει καταδείξει ότι η ανάπτυξη σχέσεων εμπιστοσύνης σε  σχολικά συγκείμενα διασφαλίζει, μεταξύ άλλων, υψηλά μαθησιακά αποτελέσματα, την παρουσία Οργανωσιακών Συμπεριφορών, την αλλαγή και την προσαρμογή, τη συνεργασία, το θετικό και υποστηρικτικό σχολικό κλίμα,  την ενισχυμένη συλλογική επάρκεια, τη συνεχή επαγγελματική μάθηση, την ανεμπόδιστη οριζόντια και κάθετη επικοινωνία  και την αυξημένη υπευθυνότητα και επαγγελματισμό από μέρους των εκπαιδευτικών. Το παρόν άρθρο στοχεύει, μέσα από την αποδελτίωση της βιβλιογραφίας, να αναδείξει πώς η εμπιστοσύνη διευκολύνει τους σχολικούς ηγέτες και τους εκπαιδευτικούς να αντιμετωπίσουν με επιτυχία τις προκλήσεις που αναδύονται τόσο σε καθημερινή βάση, αλλά και σε περιόδους αβεβαιότητας και αστάθειας (π.χ. περίοδος Covid-19).
