Κυρίαρχος προσανατολισμός των αξιών προς την ατομικότητα ή τη συλλογικότητα σε ελληνικό και γαλλικό δείγμα

Περίληψη

Ο προσανατολισμός αξιών προς τον ατομικισμό ή την συλλογικότητα, στην Ελληνική κοινωνία, μελετήθηκε στο πλαίσιο μιας διαπολιτισμικής έρευνας που απέβλεπε στη σύγκριση ελληνικού και γαλλικού πληθυσμού. Η έρευνα είχε ως στόχο τη μελέτη της δομικής διάστασης των κοινωνικών αναπαραστάσεων των εννοιών της ατομικότητας και της συλλογικότητας σε δύο Ευρωπαϊκές πρωτεύουσες, καθώς και τις στάσεις απέναντι στις συνιστώσες των δύο εννοιών. Το υλικό συλλέχθηκε με τη μέθοδο των ελεύθερων συνειρμών και αναλύθηκε με τη μέθοδο δομικής προσέγγισης. Το δείγμα αποτελούταν από 68 φοιτητές/-ριες Ψυχολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου René Descartes -Paris 5 και 109 φοιτητές/-ριες Ψυχολογίας του Παντείου Πανεπιστημίου. Επιβεβαιώνοντας τις υποθέσεις μας, η έρευνα έδειξε ότι τόσο η δομή των αναπαραστάσεων όσο και οι στάσεις των συμμετεχόντων/-ουσών όσον αφορά τα στοιχεία που συναποτελούν τις αναπαραστάσεις της ατομικότητας και της συλλογικότητας, όπως προκύπτουν από τους συνειρμούς των συμμετεχόντων, διαφέρουν μεταξύ των δύο πληθυσμών. Το Ελληνικό
δείγμα αξιολογεί θετικότερα τις έννοιες που συνδέονται με την συλλογικότητα, ενώ το Γαλλικό δείγμα τις έννοιες που συνδέονται με την ατομικότητα.
