Περίληψη
Η παιδική κακοποίηση είναι πολύ δύσκολο να αντιμετωπιστεί, διότι αποτελεί ένα από τα καλύτερα φυλαγμένα οικογενειακά μυστικά. Μία από τις πλέον διαδεδομένες μεθόδους διερεύνησης του φαινομένου της κακοποίησης είναι η ζωγραφική, επειδή παρέχει τη δυνατότητα άντλησης ευαίσθητων πληροφοριών με έμμεσο τρόπο, ο οποίος δεν δημιουργεί άγχος ή φόβο στο παιδί. Η παρούσα μελέτη διερεύνησε τη συχνότητα εμφάνισης 20 συναισθηματικών δεικτών σε σχέδια κακοποιημένων και μη κακοποιημένων παιδιών. Εξετάστηκαν συνολικά 101 κακοποιημένα και 72 μη κακοποιημένα παιδιά της πρωτοβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης. Οι ερευνητές ζητούσαν από τα παιδιά να ζωγραφίσουν μια ανθρώπινη φιγούρα και αξιολογούσαν τα σχέδια τους με βάση μια λίστα 20 συναισθηματικών δεικτών, οι οποίοι υποστηρίζεται ότι αντανακλούν τα έντονα αρνητικά συναισθήματα των παιδιών (Koppitz, 1968. Malchiodi, 1997). Δώδεκα από τους συναισθηματικούς δείκτες εντοπίστηκαν με σημαντική συχνότητα στα σχέδια των κακοποιημένων παιδιών (από p<0,000 έως p<0,003). Τα αποτελέσματα της παρούσας έρευνας έδειξαν ότι η ζωγραφική, όταν χρησιμοποιείται από σωστά εκπαιδευμένους ειδικούς επιστήμονες και σε συνδυασμό με άλλες παράλληλες διαγνωστικές μεθόδους, μπορεί να αποτελέσει ένα σημαντικό εργαλείο για τον εντοπισμό της παιδικής κακοποίησης. Επιπλέον, επισημαίνονται οι κίνδυνοι που εγκυμονεί η επιφανειακή ή η λαθεμένη χρήση του εργαλείου της ζωγραφικής.
