Abstract
Given the difference between purely educational learning platforms and Social Media, the positive and negative aspects of the latter are the subject of dynamic research. It is widely known that participatory Internet applications are an excellent place for communication, knowledge dissemination, exchange of ideas, peer and teacher communication, creating multimodal learning communities with intense social and cognitive interaction. However, they can also lead to excessive consumption of leisure time, distraction from the educational processes in and outside the school environment, ultimately leading to a deterioration in school performance and possible involvement in situations that pose other forms of social risk. For this reason, the attitudes of stakeholders in the educational process at all levels of education vary. Having available the results of a questionnaire survey that aimed to capture the situation regarding the use of Social Media in all levels of education in Greece, at a time immediately after the drastic social impact of the Covid pandemic19, this paper aims to categorize the stakeholders' attitudes by applying the method of Multiple Factor Analysis and Automatic Hierarchical Clustering. The application of the method led to the categorization of the sample into three groups of teachers and three groups of students  with homogeneous qualitative characteristics based on their responses, which satisfactorily outline attitudes and trends of the sample of a particular period.  Finally, by applying this classification method, a structural model of assessment was established, with which it was possible to shed light on the attitudes and behaviors of teachers and students in this particular period of observation.

Dimitrios Vagianos, University of Macedonia

Dr Dimitrios Vagianos has graduated from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki in Greece.  He has been awarded an M.Sc. with Distinction in Mobile Communication Systems from the University of Surrey in UK. He holds a PhD degree awarded by the University of Macedonia in Social Web Big Data Mining and Analysis Methods.  Currently, he is member of the Laboratory Teaching Personnel of the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece and founding member of the Governance and ICT Lab there. He is teaching standalone undergraduate or postgraduate courses, with Digital Media Society, Politics of the Internet, Computer Applications and Multimedia among them.    He is member of:  the Technical Chamber of Greece, the Greek Association of Civil Servant Engineers and the EU Cost Action CA19142 Management Committee of the Leading Platform for European Citizens, Industries, Academia and Policymakers in Media Accessibility.  He has participated in a number of EU funded projects and has presented parts of his research work in various International Conferences. His writings have been published as peer reviewed articles in several Scientific Journals and as chapters in edited volumes of International publishers.  He can speak English and German.
