Some remarks on the frescoes in the katholikon of the monastery of the Dormition of the Theotokos in Torniki, Grevena (1481/82)
Abstract
In this study are published the frescoes of the first phase of the katholicon of the monastery of the Dormition of the Theotokos at Torniki in Grevena. The frescoes are dated in 1481/82 and are presented common characteristics with the painting of the so-called school of Kastoria of the last quarter of the fifteenth century.
