Judges

Each judge undertakes the evaluation of submitted articles with responsibility and objectivity.

Judges must maintain confidentiality regarding the articles assigned to them for evaluation and must not disclose information about their content.

Judges avoid comparing submitted articles with personal beliefs and rely on the evaluation criteria determined by the journal.

Each judge is obligated to assess articles based on the criteria specified in the journal's regulations.

Judges provide detailed evaluations and comments for each article to assist authors in improving their work.

Judges have the right to propose changes or additions that will enhance the quality and contribution of the articles.

Judges must complete the evaluation within the timeframe specified by the Editorial Board.

In case of practical inability to complete the evaluation, the judge must promptly notify the Editorial Board.

Judges maintain a high level of professionalism and respect towards authors, regardless of nationality, gender, or other distinguishing factors.

Any conflict of interest must be reported to the Editorial Committee for resolution.

Judges actively collaborate with the Editorial Committee to ensure the high quality of published articles. This collaboration includes providing information for article evaluations and participating in discussions about the journal's quality and strategy.

Judges are encouraged to participate in educational programs and events that promote their professional development in the fields of education and research.

The contribution of judges to the improvement of the journal will be subject to evaluation and recognition.

In the event of inability or delay in evaluating an article, the Editorial Board reserves the right to request the replacement of the judge with another.

Judges who cannot continue their participation must promptly inform the Editorial Board.

Call for Papers and Submission Process

The call for paper submissions to the journal is posted on its website.

Interested authors are invited to submit their articles following the guidelines provided below.

Submissions must adhere to the specified formatting rules and follow scientific methodology.

The Editorial Board oversees the evaluation process, ensuring an objective and scientific assessment of each submission.

Authors are informed of the progress of the evaluation and any changes in the status of their article.

Article submission requires independence, originality, and adherence to ethical codes.

Specifically:

  • Works submitted for publication are considered under the condition that they are original and have not been published or are intended for publication elsewhere in any scientific journal or other publication of any kind.

  • The length of each submitted work ranges between 4,000 and 7,000 words, including abstracts, bibliography, tables, diagrams, charts, images, and appendices.

  • Each work should be accompanied, in addition to the title, by an abstract of up to 250 words in Greek and, correspondingly, an abstract in English.Given that the journal is international, in case the article is submitted in English, the author is required to provide an abstract in Greek as well.

  • At the end of each abstract, up to six (6) keywords should be provided in the same language.

  • Submitted works should have the following structure: author(s) personal information, title, abstracts, keywords, text, bibliography.

For the sake of anonymity and to ensure the integrity of the evaluation process for submitted texts, the personal information of the authors—in the order they appear in the work—should be included on a separate (introductory) page from the text of the work, in Arial font, size 12, lowercase.

On this introductory page, a brief biographical note (up to 250 words) for each author should be included.

This page will be removed/separated from the manuscript by the editorial committee of the journal before the start of the text evaluation process, to ensure a "blind" review. In this introductory page, in case of multiple authors, the corresponding author for communication should be indicated. To ensure a "blind" review:

  • Authors should have removed their names from the main text of the article,
  • In the WORD file, as well as in the PDF file, the author's identity should be removed from the properties of the file (correspondingly in the File menu in Word and in the File menu of Adobe Acrobat).

Authors submit the revised version of their work in its final form, in WORD and PDF formats, after considering the changes proposed by the reviewers, within two weeks from the date of notification of the reviewers' comments, using the Article Writing and Submission Template (follows).

The Editorial Board of the journal judges whether the revised work, according to the reviewers' suggestions, is suitable for publication. The revised works are forwarded for language editing and formatting under the condition that they are formatted according to the specifications of the journal. If further clarifications are required, authors will be notified by email to provide them. If they do not respond within three working days of their notification, their article will be published according to the changes proposed by the editors of the text.

General Guidelines for Writing Papers and Articles

Length: 4,000 to 7,000 words, including abstracts, bibliography, tables, diagrams, figures, images, and appendices.

Page Layout: Normal (Margins: 3.18 cm right & left, 2.50 cm top & bottom).

Font for Subtitles and Main Text: Times New Roman, size 12.

No use of bold characters or underlining within the text. Italic characters are allowed for emphasizing points.

Line Spacing: 1.5 (main text).

Alignment: Full (main text).

Paragraphs: Indent all paragraphs (including the first) by half an inch (1.27 cm) using the Tab key. No space between paragraphs.

Detailed Text Formatting Instructions

Title of the Paper: Arial, size 16, lowercase, bold, centered, single spacing.

Author Names: Arial, size 12, lowercase, bold, centered, single spacing. Leave one line (press Enter) between the title and the authors' names, as well as between different authors.

Affiliation of the Author(s): Below each author's name, include the organization of origin and email address in italics (Arial, size 11, italics, not bold, centered, single spacing).

Abstract: Up to 250 words. Times New Roman, size 11. Single text block, no paragraphs or bibliographic references. Full alignment (Leave two lines between authors' personal information and the abstract). The abstract should be written first in Greek and then in English (Abstract), with a two-line gap between them (including keywords).

Given that the journal is international, if the article is submitted in English, the author is required to provide an abstract in Greek as well

Keywords: Below each abstract, up to 6 words, Times New Roman, size 11, with commas between words.

Introduction - Main Text: The paper begins with the Introduction after the abstracts, followed by the main article with subtitles for each section.

Subtitles: Leave one line between the subtitles of the sections, before and after the text. All subtitles (including the abstract) should be written in Times New Roman, lowercase, size 12, bold, with left alignment.

Example Subtitles: Research Identity, Results and Comments.

If there are second-level subtitles, use Times New Roman, size 12, italics (not bold), with a one-line space before the following text.

Bibliography: References are provided on a separate page immediately after the end of the main text, following the APA 7th edition citation system. The title "Bibliography" is in Times New Roman, lowercase, size 12, bold, left-aligned, with a double space (press Enter) before and after.

The bibliographic references are cited in plain text, Times New Roman, size 12, and fully justified. A space (using Enter) intervenes between the references, and a single line separates entries within the same reference if it spans more than one line. The references are presented without numbering and bullet points, arranged alphabetically.

Tables, Diagrams, Charts, and Images: Should not be inserted within the text but on a separate page at the end of the document, after the bibliography. Provide clear indications of their exact locations within the text (e.g., "Table 1" or "Figure 2"). Use sparingly, include titles, and design with clarity. Avoid bold elements and uppercase.

Captions for Figures, Diagrams, Tables, and Images: Times New Roman, size 12, centered, placed above tables and below figures. Leave one line before and after the caption. Number tables, figures, diagrams, and images with bold formatting (e.g., Table 2).

Appendices: At the end of the document, after the bibliography, on a new page. Text: Times New Roman, size 11, single spacing, full alignment, centered title with bold formatting (e.g., Appendix 1).

Criteria for Publication of Papers

Articles are selected for publication based on scientific quality, contribution to the field, and adherence to international scientific community standards.

Criteria for Evaluating Papers:

  1. Originality of the evaluated article.
  2. Relevance to the journal's thematic focus.
  3. Educational interest and applicability from a research perspective.
  4. Comprehensive, understandable, and well-structured content, with coherent expression.

  6. Development and support of the theme through a theoretical framework (where necessary).
  7. Methodology, documentation, research, and argumentation. Presentation of results and formulation of conclusions contributing to theory, research, or educational practice.
  8. Effective and relevant use of the bibliography. A check is conducted for bibliographic references matching those in the text.
  9. Compliance with the specified text formatting standard.
  10. Plagiarism. It is a reason for rejecting the work.

Double-Blind Peer Review Model

The evaluation process of submitted articles follows the double-blind peer review model.

Reviewers selected for article assessment are unaware of the authors' identities, and conversely, authors are not informed about the identities of the reviewers.

The double-blind review ensures an objective and unbiased assessment of the works, contributing to the quality assurance of the journal.

Each reviewer provides detailed comments and evaluates articles based on scientific contribution, methodology, clarity of expression, and other significant factors.

The Editorial Board considers reviewers' evaluations when making decisions regarding article publication.

Publication of Articles

Articles selected for publication in the journal are announced on the journal's website.

Authors are informed of the acceptance or rejection of their submitted work, taking into account the reviewers' evaluations.

In case of acceptance, the article is listed in the journal's electronic catalog and is freely accessible to readers.

Publication includes references to the authors, the title, and identification information, with the option for article download and printing.

When submitting articles to the journal and/or conference, authors are required to confirm that the submission meets the following criteria. Incompatible submissions may be returned to the authors.

  • The Article is an original work, it has not been published previously, nor is it under consideration for publication elsewhere, either in print or in electronic form.
  • To the best of my knowledge, the Article does not defame any person, invade anyone's privacy, and does not otherwise infringe upon the rights of any person.
  • The Article does not in any way violate intellectual property rights of third parties. Wherever permission is required, I have obtained it from the copyright holders.
  • I have read and I accept the Copyright Policy and have prepared the manuscript according to the Author Guidelines of the Journal.
