The interview as a tool in educational research
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the interview as a research tool in educational research. Within qualitative research, interviews are used to record deeper human experiences by exploring the perceptions of the participants. The paper also examines the various types of interviews, such as semi-structured, unstructured, and structured, focusing on their different approaches and uses. Additionally, it mentions the importance of question selection and interview management, emphasizing the need for transparency and respect towards the participants.
