Βασικές ικανότητες στην Πρωτοβάθμια Εκπαίδευση
Abstract
n the context of creating the European Education Area (EEA), eight (8) key competences have been formulated according to the Recommendation of the European Parliament, which all individuals completing Compulsory Education must have developed. In recent years, these key competences have gained significant prominence in Europe's educational systems through their integration into the curricula of European countries. According to current legislation, the first stage of Compulsory Education in Greece is Primary Education (Kindergarten and Elementary School). The specific research, conducted in March 2024, aims to answer the question of whether the key competences have been incorporated into the Curriculum of Primary Education. To achieve this goal, we investigated the Curriculum of Primary Education using content analysis method. According to the main findings of our research, it seems that the key competences, which are linked to the learning outcomes of the EEA, have been integrated into the Curriculum of Primary Education.
