Περίληψη
Η συνδεσμίτιδα στην έκφυση του συνδέσμου αναρτήρα του κυνήποδα αποτελεί μια σχετικά συχνή πάθηση, η οποία προσβάλλει κυρίως ίππους αθλητικής ιππασίας. Στη μελέτη αυτή συμπεριλήφθηκαν επτά ίπποι με συνδεσμίτιδα της έκφυσης του συνδέσμου αναρτήρα του κυνήποδα ενός εκ των οπίσθιων άκρων. Η τελική διάγνωση έγινε με βάση την κλινική εικόνα του ίππου, την περιφερική αναισθησία, καθώς και τον υπερηχογραφικό και ακτινολογικό έλεγχο. Η θεραπεία περιελάμβανε μετά την αρχική χορήγηση μη στεροειδών αντιφλεγμονωδών φαρμάκων και την εφαρμογή μιας σειράς περιτενόντιων εγχύσεων που αποτελούνταν από υδροχλωρική μεπιβακαΐνη, νατριούχο ηπαρίνη, ένα σύνθετο ομοιοπαθητικό και παράγωγο αίματος μόσχου. Το σύνολο των ίππων ανταποκρίθηκε με επιτυχία στο θεραπευτικό πρωτόκολλο και επανήλθε πλήρως στην αθλητική δραστηριότητα σε διάστημα 8 έως 12 εβδομάδων.
