Ο Μεσολαβητικός Ρόλος της Εχθρικής Απόδοσης Αιτιότητας στη Σχέση της Προσωπικότητας με τον Κυβερνο-Εκφοβισμό

Περίληψη

Στόχος της παρούσας έρευνας ήταν η διερεύνηση της σχέσης των πέντε μεγάλων παραγόντων προσωπικότητας, της Εχθρικής Απόδοσης Αιτιότητας και του κυβερνο-εκφοβισμού σε 347 Έλληνες μαθητές Δημοτικού (ΣΤ’) και Γυμνασίου. Με σκοπό να διερευνηθεί εάν η επίδραση των χαρακτηριστικών προσωπικότητας στον κυβερνο-εκφοβισμό εξηγείται καλύτερα μέσω της Εχθρικής Απόδοσης Αιτιότητας, πραγματοποιήθηκε ανάλυση μεσολάβησης. Τα αποτελέσματα έδειξαν ότι η Εχθρική Απόδοση Αιτιότητας μεσολαβεί μεταξύ του υψηλού νευρωτισμού και της χαμηλής εξωστρέφειας και του κυβερνο-εκφοβισμού. Συνολικά, αναδεικνύεται ότι τα λιγότερο κοινωνικά άτομα με χαμηλή συναισθηματική σταθερότητα είναι πιθανότερο να εκδηλώσουν κυβερνο-εκφοβισμό εξαιτίας της τάσης τους να αποδίδουν εχθρική πρόθεση, συμπεριφορές που μπορεί να επιδεινωθούν κατά την ηλεκτρονικά διαμεσολαβούμενη επικοινωνία, η οποία συχνά παρέχει περιορισμένες κοινωνικές ενδείξεις στον χρήστη. Τα ευρήματα μπορούν να συμβάλλουν στην αντιμετώπιση του κυβερνο-εκφοβισμού, μέσω παρεμβάσεων που βοηθούν τους μαθητές να ερμηνεύουν τις διφορούμενες κοινωνικές αλληλεπιδράσεις.
