Περίληψη
Συναίσθημα και διαπροσωπικές σχέσεις εμπλέκονται σε μια γόνιμη διαλεκτική. Διαπροσωπικά σχεσιακά πλαίσια καθορίζουν την αντίληψη, βίωση, και επικοινωνία έντονων συναισθημάτων, ενώ αντίστροφα, συναισθηματικές και θυμικές διαδικασί- ες στις σχέσεις μπορούν να επηρεάσουν την ικανοποίηση, την επικοινωνία, και την ποιότητα της σχέσης του ενός μέλους με το άλλο. Το παρόν άρθρο κάνει μια κριτική επισκόπηση κεντρικών προσεγγίσεων για το συ- ναίσθημα στις διαπροσωπικές σχέσεις υπό το πρίσμα κοινωνιογνωστικών, σχεσιακών και συμπεριφορικών μοντέλων. Στη βάση αυτής της επισκόπησης και με αναφορά σε μοντέλα και πρόσφατες μελέτες για το συναίσθημα στη διαπροσωπική διάδραση υποστηρίζεται η ανάγκη για σύνθεση των ευρημάτων, και η εστίαση σε θυμικού τύπου διαδικασίες στη διαπροσωπική διάδραση (συναισθηματική μετάδοση, θυμική συρρύθμιση). Η ανάλυση του συναισθηματικών και, κυρίως, θυμικών διαδικασιών στη διαπροσωπική διάδραση μπορεί να αποτελέσει τη βάση μιας πολυεπίπεδης κατανόησης του πώς ενδοπροσωπικοί, σχεσιακοί και άλλοι παράγοντες μπορεί να επηρεάσουν το συναίσθημα ανάμεσα σε άτομα με υψηλό βαθμό αλληλεξάρτησης και αντί- στροφα, πώς συναισθηματικές διαδικασίες στη διαπροσωπική διάδραση μπορεί να καθορίσουν σχεσιακά σχήματα και μοτίβα διαπροσωπικών σχέσεων.
