Changement des noms, hellenisation, conscience nationale: Rites de passage dans l'Asie mineure (19eme siecle)
Abstract
Cet article examine le phénomène du changement des noms qui a eu lieu durant la
deuxième moitié du 19ème siede intra muros, c’est à dire dans les écoles des
sujets orthodoxes et même turcophones de l’Empire Ottoman.
Lié étroitement an processus de la formation d’une conscience nationale et de
Γhellénisation de l’Orient il met en usage les noms historiques ou mythologiques
de l’antiquité grecque, en constituant ainsi un rite de passage.
