Deux églises d'Athènes aujourd'hui disparues
Abstract
Presented are the drawings and the record made by Paul Durand in 1843 of the churches that existed on the site of the present Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Athens. These were the sixteenth-century church of St Nicholas and the church of the Virgin Kandili, architectural material from which was used in the construction of the new church (1848 et seq.).
