Tables de Xanthos
Abstract
Early Christian Tables from Xanthos in Lycia
In this article are discussed some of the marble findings recovered by the French Archaeological Mission to Xanthos-Letoon in Lycia. This material has been categorized into two groups, imported marbles from Prokonnesos and local marble fabric. The findings under discussion are fragments of two kinds of Early Christian tables, rectangular ones with undulate frame and circular ones with an uncinate rim.
